![]() ![]() I assume since your speed test is far better that they have resolved that issue as it effected my speed tests as well. I had gigabit fiber at my house awhile ago and thats when I found out due to the shitty windows TCP stack I could only push ~750mbps on that box even with a pci-e network card. Do you see any of the boxes on the left peaking at 100%? If not then it's likely a software bug somewhere in nzbget that is lowering your performance. While running nzbget at full speed open the task manager and go to the performance tab. I'm guessing your gaming rig is a windows box. I gave up and accepted that I'm only going to get 30MB/s And probably a lot more things that I'm forgetting. Tried running nzbget/sabnzb on both windows and Linux. Other things I've tried are changing Usenet ports. Although i hate that it needs software installed to configure it.Getting off topic now.Įdit: added and changed a few things. I also use a ubiquity wireless AC access point for my wireless clients since the edge router doesn't have WiFi built in. I setup a dns adblock on it so all my clients have ad blocking in all apps/browsers. Well worth the 100$ the router runs Debian Linux and you can install lots of stuff with apt-get. Which I love by the way is Ubiquiti edge router light. I have tried 6 different routers ranging from Asus nighthawk to pfsense to my current. I just don't know how they are throttling it when I'm using SSL and port 443. No matter what I do I have never seen Usenet download more than 32MB/s. ![]() I can download steam games at about 70MB/s all day long. ![]() Hooking my computer directly to my gigabit router and using SSD. I've even tried different providers for Usenet. The weakest link in my chain I think is my ISP when it comes to using Usenet. I've tried a lot to optimize that including getting a router with pppoe offloading but to no avail. If it makes you feel any better, I only get about a maximum 30 megabytes a second with my gigabit connection using CenturyLink. This includes hacking, using a loophole, or other methods not publicly advertised by the usenet provider. No promoting of 'backdoor' access into usenet providers' networks.
